Celebrate With Us the Release of Issue 20.1!

Fourteen Hills is head-over-heels to announce our 40th release party. Yeah, you heard that right. On Wednesday, December 11th at the Glass Door Gallery, Fourteen Hills will be releasing its 40th issue and celebrating its 20th year with art, poetry and fiction readings, a DJ, and an incredible raffle.

The 20th Anniversary Edition is extra full of groundbreaking creative work. You won’t want to miss seeing the artwork in person or hearing some of our contributors read from their work. Renown local artists Ann Rhoney, Deirdre White and Jennifer O’Keeffe are included in this issue and will have their artwork on display. Plus, the one and only Marilyn Minter allowed us to feature a piece of her artwork on the cover of this issue. We think you’ll agree that we couldn’t have asked for a better cover for the 20th Anniversary Edition. What is it? you ask. Oh, we think it’ll be more fun for you to come and find out for yourself.

If the art, readings, and music aren’t enough to entice you, by all means, come for the raffle. We will be selling raffle tickets that showcase some of the great businesses in the Bay Area, and, of course, so you have the opportunity to win some one-of-a-kind gifts. There are lots of prizes, including items, services, and gift cards, from Sockshop Haight St., Books Inc., Audiopharmacy, tattoo and piercing parlor Braindrops, Glama-Rama Salon & Gallery, and many more. There will even be a Reiki session and, to keep you on track, an hour of marriage and family therapy. What a fantastic way to start a brand new year. And don’t forget that 100% of the sales goes right back into the making of Fourteen Hills, one of our country’s most envelope-pushing and exceptional literary journals.
